The Business Ledger Launches Its Synergy Web Platform

The Business Ledger, the premier business newspaper for Chicago’s suburbs, launched its new Web site deploying the SynNet Synergy Web Platform today.

The Ledger converted from their old static Web site to the Synergy Web Platform finding its easy-to-use content management system, news articles module and advertising modules the best method for creating their print publication online.

“We’ve really increased our site visitors and page views.” Andrew Zielonka, Director of Sales & Marketing said. “We’re having great results with our advertisers, especially when we combine the Synergy Web Platform with SynNet’s ENewsLetter application (for business; for associations) that gives us the ability to send graphical, weekly summary emails (The Business Edge) to subscribers.

The Synergy Platform for publications has over 40 modules available, all can be managed with a Web browser and various sections of the publication can be maintained by different assigned staff. OF course content is not published until approved. The system can also be set-up for various levels of visitors, for example, general public, subscribers, and/or advertisers.
